Dino Tomic the Explosive Artist

Dino Tomic's art is literally explosive.

The Croatian-born artist added a new medium to his arsenal—gunpowder. As you watch him, armed with a squeeze bottle full of gunpowder, painstakingly shape the grainy substance on his paper, it's hard not to marvel at his eye for detail despite his unruly medium. You also marvel at his confidence as he moves his lighter closer and closer to the page until the powder ignites, the flame running down the lines like dominoes, leaving nothing but ash and Dino's image burnt onto the page. Dino Tomic says, "Everything with gunpowder is a challenge—you really need to think outside the box," and his images, which range from Star Wars characters to more serious environmentalist pieces, do just that.

Dino Tomic, a talented Croatian tattoo artist in Norway, likes to create gripping realistic drawings when he’s not tattooing clients. His drawings, whether drawing upon horror and sci-fi elements or looking to realistic models for inspiration, pulse with dynamic force. Tomic, himself a relatively young artist, has plenty of advice for those looking to improve their art skills; “The best way you can learn is to copy/study others’ work,” he writes in his artist’s statement. “While you do that you create your own style. You learn a thing from one artist and something else from someone else.”

Woman who sees numbers in color

About artist Kathryn Beals she is a self-taught painter from British Columbia with no formal training in art. She has  been selling her artwork professionally since she was thirteen, and painting full-time since 2005.

Kathryn Beals now live in Mountain View, California with her husband and three young children. Her landscape style is influenced by many beautiful places she has lived in the Canadian north, her former career in forestry, and the places they have seen in their little orange tent. They have backpacked sections of the Pacific Crest Trail, the John Muir Trail, the West Coast Trail, and many remote areas of northern Canada.

She attribute the color and movement in  her paintings to her synesthesia and migraine auras. These conditions have shaped the way she see the world, and enhanced her  development as an artist. Her primary medium is acrylic on canvas, but also work with resin, metal leaf and wood. In 2017, She discovered fluid abstracts, and immediately fell in love with the way fluid paintings come out looking like something in nature, from cells to rocks to aerial photos to galaxies. She has been experimenting with adding resin and metallic leaf.

THE RARE FASHION LADY THAT AGING DOESNT MATTER FOR HER

I was watching videos in Facebook, suddenly one of the videos attract my attention, a woman who were very nice clothes  that for sure wear, if I had it.  This woman, 64 years old, is a Fashion Icon, so there is no age to success. after I heard her story she really inspires me. Since she was child she was attracted to Fashion but nothing really happen.  Till before 3 years ago when she was starting to write on her personal blog Accidental icon and she has clear message about aging :

For the better part of her life, 63 year old Lyn Slater has been a professor and academic at Fordham University. That is until she was going to meet a friend at the Lincoln Center for lunch during fashion week and was mistaken by members of the foreign press as a fashion icon. Seeing Lyn’s perfectly coiffed hair and chic style sense, it was an easy mistake to make. It attracted a rather large crowd and became a pivotal moment that changed her life.

Now Slater's blog, Accidental Icon, has taken off in a big way, Slater writes about fashion and beauty on the blog, focusing on lesser-known designers and brands she truly cares about while showcasing gorgeous photos of her unique looks. Of course, Slater's blog also stands out in other ways — it's not every day you see a 63-year-old blogger killing it in the fashion world. Yet fans of Accidental Icon will notice Slater doesn't dwell on her age.

Aging doesn`t matter - that`s a fact and an evidence

Slater Moto is “FOR ME, A WOMAN WHO IS ABSORBED IN HER WORK, WHO DOES NOT CARE ABOUT GAINING ONE’S FAVOR, STRONG YET SUBTLE AT THE SAME TIME, IS ESSENTIALLY MORE SEDUCTIVE. THE MORE SHE HIDES AND ABANDONS HER FEMININITY, THE MORE IT EMERGES FROM THE VERY HEART OF HER EXISTENCE. A PAIR OF BRILLIANTLY CUT COTTON TROUSERS CAN BE MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN A GORGEOUS SILK GOWN.” —YOHJI YAMAMOTO—

“The best thing I can tell you is: Attach to nothing," she said. "Take a risk, put yourself in a space, and see what happens."  I love it ... it can show to many women world wide. there is no limitation to anyone, anywhere or anytime .
